Having previously been in a very similar position myself (member of an investment team for a captive venture fund of a fortune 500 company) I would suggest the following:
http://www.vcinstitute.org/ which is affiliated with the NVCA. This will be a fantastic place to network and to learn. The institute is in Sept. however so be sure to sign up quickly.

sorry to double post, but after posting I thought to check the Europrean Venture Capital Association website to see if they had a similar type of program as the NVCA (as you were looking for something in Europe). They seem to run a number of different courses with several coming up in the next few months, check here:
