HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO GET INTO VC WITHOUT AN IVY LEAGUE DEGREE? HOW WOULD ONE DO SO AND ARE THERE EXAMPLES OF OTHERS THAT HAVE MADE IT INTO A VC WITHOUT THE PEDIGREE ETC? WHAT WERE THEIR BACKGROUNDS AND HOW CAN ONE EMULATE IT?

Yes, how would one go about getting an entry level job in a VC firm without the ivy league degree? Why are most, who work for VC's come from Ivy League backgournds? Does this mean it is almost impossbile to get in?
Any advice or books one can read on how to break in? I've read the vault report on how to get in and it seems to be just a personality fit and desire to actually be able to work for one? Any other suggestions?
