I have posted this message at the Investment banking board but noone answered to any of my previous posts so I try wiht you guys also:
This is for a Sr Financial Analyst spot at a Private Equity Fund in the Hospitality industry.
The interviews went great. One with the CFO who I would report directly to, one with the Controller, and one with HR.
Can you help me evaluate the offer. I feel it is kind of low and would be interested to hear your opinion about it and any suggestions for how to handle a counter offer.

*2 weeks vacation, 2 personal days

Before I jump in and say the offer is too low, there is an important question I have.
Based on your post it seems you will be working for the CFO and interviewed with him and the controller which would lead me to believe the position is more on the administrative/internal finances and accounting role as opposed to a Sr. Financial Analyst in the investment side of the fund.
If this is the case the pay is not too low, but if it is on the investment side of the fund then it seems a little low.
Also, based on your description the fund seems small unless you meant to write $1B.
