Why didn't you file a complaint with the union? There are two reasons that UPS will transfer you. 1. going to school in another city (You must have an acceptance letter to present to HR.) 2. If your spouse's job forces him or her to relocate... But in either case, there must be an opening at the center or hub to which you plan to transfer. It's not up to your manager. Now if your manager says bad things about you to the other district then they may try to blackball you. But you have rights. I wouldn't let them get over on me like that. |

My husband and I are newlyweds. He has been w/ ups in sc for 13yrs, 6 as a driver. I had to move 4 states away for work and family. Can ANYONE help?? We are so desperate to be together- he doesn't want to lose his pay or benefits. He is an awesome driver, knows 14 different routes and is on the safety com. w/ no accidents. Please contact if anyone can help, I am in LOU KY!
