In Reply To: Does any one know what UBS's compensation for FA? Please break it down to base + bonus. I also wanted to know what office culture at UBS is like, compared to ML and GS. Any input is greatly appreciated. I recently interviewed for an FA position at ML, UBS, and GS and just need more information before I can decide. Thanks.
Message: How is a Financial Advisor salary determined? As a Financial Advisor in the New FA Development Program, you will receive a compensation package that has been designed to support the growth and success of your business. This compensation plan begins by providing salary during pre-production training (approximately the first 6 months depending on previous licensing). Following the successful completion two weeks of training at the corporate office in Weehawken, NJ (the final stage of pre-production training); you will be eligible for a 48 month compensation package that includes salary support for 24 months, as well as awards and commissions (based on meeting program performance goals). This is a commission based program. This is selling stocks and bonds and is not a senior business consultant role.
