Hi, I'm interested in holding a seminar or training sessions on diversity, specifically, sensitivity to issues dealing with ethnicity and race. I've never looked into these before, and I'd like to know if anyone has offered these before and if so, how they were received by employees. Also, did they seem to make any difference in the office? Thanks!

I am a corporate trainer in a metropolitan area. I feel that diversity training on the adult level is too late. This type of training needs to be done on the elementary and high school levels. By the time we train employees on the coroparte level their opinions are already formed and no one is going to convince a bigot at age 30 they are doing something wrong. I feel whenever I do diversity training I am just giving lip service to those that will leave and continue with their own beliefs be it good or bad.
