By the end of this week, those principals who have opted to accept the early retirement deal have to submit their names. Which means, that beginning next week and continuing through mid-March, leadership will be putting together the list of everyone else that "will go" -- kicking and screaming, of course! Since they are (again) looking to trim back on all costs, it won't be just principals hitting the highway. There is alot of senior level dead wood still around that may want to start dusting off their resumes.
Meanwhile, the unionization talk is starting to pick up some real steam out here ... keep your eyes and ears open for it if you've not already heard it. |

our group has already heard about the unionization possibility -- my husband thinks its a great idea (he has been in one for his whole lifetime) but, I am not so sure. We'll keep exploring our options but interested to hear how our 5/5/5 will really be handled -- and, salary increases will probably be a big deal too.
