did it ever really exist?
NOt sure about training, but that had been scaled way back pre-EDS (at least in TPAS land).
Not sure why the 5/5/5 thing is a shock to you. Remember, one of the "5s" meant 5 years. And this is year 5, so it is expiring according to plan. They are just erminding you of the fact.
the Principal buy it is interesting. At least it validates what many of us always thought (many principals are living off past glory, and were effectively dead wood). That, and it makes you realize how overpaid they were, since TP will make back the buy out cost in a year or so. |

Sure it did. We used to get messages that told us about new stuff and how things we going. now we get an occasional email from some lady that we never heard of!!!
We never had TPAS here in our office, but most of us liked the training that we finally started to receive -- it was all part of the old Workplace Leadership slogan; very little mention of that in the video this year. 5/5/5 is a really big deal. sure, one of the 5's may have been "five years" but, a 5% pay cut (which is what it will be!!!) to us and the associates is alot -- especially with $400M in the bank and stupid corporate principals and non-productive LOB principals are being handed checks for $200,000. most of us would have to work four or five years to make that kind of money.
