ABOUT TBR:
TBR is a leading high-tech industry advisory and research firm.
As industry analysts, TBR covers companies from a combined business, financial and technical perspective. The research methodology combines the financial analysis approach of a Wall Street analyst with the depth of an industry analyst covering product directions, competitive positioning, market dynamics and structural changes in the industry.
TBR specializes in ??company-based?? research, whereby our analysts are assigned companies to cover rather than product/market/technology segments. TBR analysts track the financial results of each company and link the business model analysis to the strategic objectives of the firm and a SWOT analysis and financial modeling.
The network/telecom/mobile industry practice at TBR is called Network Business Quarterly (NBQ). NBQ covers infrastructure providers (enterprise and service provider equipment, software and services), mobile phone makers and software, and mobile operators and 3G services.
NBQ covers the leading infrastructure and solutions providers, including: Alcatel, Cisco, Ericsson, Intel, IBM, Lucent, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Nortel, Samsung, Siemens and Qualcomm. NBQ covers mobile operators, including: AT&T Wireless, Cingular, Nextel Communications, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless. NBQ also covers fixed line operators.
POSITION: industry analyst (network/telecom industry)
The analyst will write in-depth quarterly reports on each assigned company and provide ??inquiry time?? to TBR clients over the phone and by email. The analyst will participate in briefings, conference calls and industry events. The analyst will also periodically work on custom projects.
