I'm wondering what other people who have training and/or experience in the IT field, and can't find a job in this field, are doing? I know many people have been out of work more than a year. I have been working as a waitress at Waffle House. If you've never waited tables, you probably don't realize that waiters usually don't get minimum wage from their employers. The law only requires that the combination of wage and tips be at least minimum wage. Because I have been on the job at the same store for a year, I get the princely sum of $3.00 / hour!
