Hey,
I interviewed there for a producer position and was blown away by the professionalism and creativity of the staff. The president of Icon-Nicholson (Mr. Nicholson) was in the office, and apparently is there all the time, they have a process in doing their projects, and the staff seemed smart and together. My interview took three days, so this is what I observed in my dealings.
The benefits were extremely generous (since they are owned by a European company) and I was ready to go, but the only reasons I didn't take the job was that I was offered a position at a start-up with a slightly different job description and significantly better pay.
Go for it. If I had a clone, I'd be there. |

Hi,
I have a quite different opinion from IML. This is based on what I know about their European based operations. Don't know Icon Nicholson, could be different up there.
This company is indeed a European company (Swedish originally, Dutch now).
Employees aren't at all happy (actual insider info), they fire/hire people in a hectic way. They were almost broke last year.
This company is ridden with internal conflicts. I heard some *very* dirty things there...
In Europe, they lost a large part of they client base, due to typical underperforming.
If you are looking for the web-agency type of company (cfr with Razorfish, Marchfirst, etc...), it could be OK for you. However, if you are looking for technology / IT / Integrations work, make yourself a favor and don't join them.
HTH.
Gni.
