I already have BA and MSc CS degrees from top universities. Would it be worth the money to take an MCP exam as well?
Please let me know if you have gotten a job on the basis of MS certification and whether it has affected your salary/role etc.

It just depends on what you want to do. If you want to work for a Microsoft shop, then it makes sense. Indeed, for a company to be a Microsoft Certified Solutions Providor (or whatever they call it nowadays), they HAVE to have certified employees.
Everywhere I've worked has considered it useless, and I hear some of the 'top' companies to work for look down on it too.
