I work in the Marketing Communications department at BTG, a company that finds, develops and commercializes new technology. We recently launched a new corporate website and I would love to get some feedback on it from people involved in the high tech arena. I took a quick look at the site, having a bit of experience with companies like BTG. I like the look moving from the big dinosaur with little useful information to info-centric and open. Easy to find information--I did look at one of your 'technology overviews' and it was dated from January. Seems kind of out of date but I'm not sure how often it would be necessary to update it. I would suggest at least making it look like it's a little more recent.;) In your technology portfolio might be nice to eventually see a nice search engine (besides the general search of whole site that is now available). Also, I know it's nice to be able to show off what's in your portfolio, but if a technology is licensed or generating revenues does that mean they are available or off the market? Overall I give it thumbs up, maybe just some fine tuning but you know your industry better than I.
