I am in the military and will be getting out in the next year and a half. I am looking to be relocating to the RTP for good. I have an Associates in Applied Sciences, Bachelors in Electronic Engineering Technology, and am working on my CISCO certification. What is the job market like down there? I am origionally from Liberty NC, and want to move back home. What will I have to look forward to or do I need to rethink my career choices ? Thanks a whole bunch !!!!! |

I went from military to civilian. I am a West Pointer, have my MBA and PMP, yet I went with several of those headhunters specializing in the military transition. Needless to say, I am in a position that was grossly misrepresented. I am not challenge and desperately trying to find another position. Military headhunters are not in the expertise of placing former officers in technical fields (i.e. signal corps in the Army)
