Hi,
I am a senior at a top computer science school in the nation.
I have a 4.0 GPA, was selected as the most outstanding senior in my department,
did 2 internships with IBM Silicon Valley and Microsoft in Redmond, and received excellent ratings on my performance reviews.
I am graduating in December and until now I haven't got any definite leads yet for full-time opportunities.
Can anybody give me suggestion on where to look?
What companies are still hiring? Oracle, Cisco, Ariba, etc, seem to be in retrenchment mode.

If I were you I would contact the people that I worked for over at IBM and Microsoft. Tell them that you are in the midst of a job search and would appreciate any help that they could give in this area. Also contact your local branch of the Association for Computing Machinery and find out when their next meeting is. Bring several copies of your r??sum?? to the meeting to hand out and ask for the people who are attending for their business cards. Within a few days after the meeting call them to follow up and get some leads. It may take a half dozen months before you get a job, but don't give up.
