Joanne,
I guess you are new to this business, don't mean to offend, just stating the obvious.
I really doubt that $50-100 per month is worth it. Unless the borks move heavily in that direction, which I doubt, they will continue to rely on Dice, Monster, Headhunter, etc. If you watch these you'll see that the borks sometime use several job listing services for the same gig. That surely indicates their desire to find a contractor.
Many of the borks you find, which you will locate job postings, frequently display their website, and many maintain their own list of jobs/contracts on their site. So once you get familiar with who the players are, you just start monitoring their sites. Sure, it's a bit of work.
But the real issue is how work would be available at Sologig, because the question is how many borks really use it. If they don't, then it's a waste of money isn't it?
Look - the borks already put out the bread for Dice and other listing services. Sologig evidently feels that the contractors would be willing to pay the freight. I don't think so.
I suggest you pose this question at 'realrates.com' message board and see what the response is. I'm pretty skeptical as you can see. Save your money for training or books or something to boost your career.

Sam,
Thanks for the response. You have pretty much confirmed what I thought -- that Sologig isn't worth it. Appreciate your taking the time to respond.
