Message: Trying to find a development environment these days which is not "object oriented" would be a chore. Of course you know that object-centric applications are much more efficient in the long run because you often times only need to modify a small piece of code to fix a problem in an entire system. This also eliminates code redundancy. If you build another application later on that needs a "wheel", then you already have a wheel to give it. No re-engineering. Time saved. Business objects take time to map out correctly, takes a big investment to actually get the design phase done before development can begin. You need to allow for this otherwise you will not get the full benefits of the "business object" concept. As a developer, I've been writing business objects for companies for approximately 5 years, the companies that I've built them for find them invaluable. Thomas Jenkins
