I worked for this company for 6-1/2 years and while I had great hopes of working hard and getting my dues at the largest consultancy company of India, my hopes were shattered in a few months of joining.
Listen to this: The ethics stuff is nothing but hog wash. As a matter of fact, I have seen girls getting harassed for everything and anything. Sexist behaviour is prevalent and sometimes sexual favours are asked openly for a promotion or for an overseas posting.
Yes, It is true that it is part of one of the oldest conglomerate in India but it is time they realize they are in a 'modern' industry and get out of the archaic mindset they have. I would say, this is an okay company to start with but if you want a long term career with this company, be ready to lose your respect.
