So, what did happen?
First Amy Robach now Contessa Brewer.
I haven't watched Imus in a long while. I don't listen to him on the radio because I don't live in New York. Can someone tell me what happened with Imus and Contessa???

Imus has the guests. Period. Between the goofy crap he's got the heavy hitters from the NBC stable and elsewhere. Newsmakers and news readers. Really got to hear Bob Schieffer out of the structured CBS format and one can see how likeable he is.
I've been listening to Imus for years, and always ran into him during his much-publicized substance abuse days at the dear departed WNBC 660AM.
He's a good alternative, and you know MSNBC really can't put on anything else that will cannabilize the Today Show.
That being said, if anyone else in the GE stable who is not on-air (or on-air without a connection to a certain vice-chairman of GE) pulled what Imus did, he'd be out on his ass.
