He rips Contessa Brewer, Rick Kaplan and now Tucker Carlson with no consequences?
Is anyone running MSNBC? Who is riding heard on this guy?
He can keep the radio show, but MSNBC needs to get him off their air pronto. He is not doing them any favors by ripping other employees at the network during his show.
See how well known he is when he goes back to just having a radio audience in NYC and a few other markets. (is he on XM or Sirius?) |

Imus draws MSNBC's second or third biggest audience regularly. That's why he's on MSNBC and why lots of people watch and listen. He often has a bigger audience than CNN's morning show.
I would be surprised if he did not move to satellite next year along with Stern.
The business with Brewer was very bad and in fact he'd not mentioned it in months until Tucker Carlson brought it up on Monday. That's why Carlson got such a rude response, like picking the scab off of a healing wound. That's why he was thrown off the show and why you'll not hear him again on the Imus venue.
I suspect Kaplan loves it when he's mentioned on the air, even when he's poked fun at, as Imus does.
