In Reply To: I recently got a new job working a 3-11:30 p.m. shift and can't seem to figure out how to meet new people outside of work. I'm a single guy in my 20s and am getting tired of the bar scene. Anyone else been in a similar situation? How do you keep things interesting on a shift that keeps you at work during the hours that everyone else is enjoying their free time?
Message: i'm sure you've heard them before.... 1 - malls 2 - health clubs 3 - grocery stores 4 - civic organizations which have lunches - like chamber, rotary, etc. just a few old (not necessarily orginal) thoughts - that could still work for you.
