They are still looking for a morning anchor, even though a decision will be made soon. Turns out, their current anchor wants to get some reporting on her resume tape. So, management switched her to reporting and are now looking for a morning anchor. Be advised, this is not your average anchoring position. Everything is pre-recorded, very little live except for breaking news. The anchor sits at the desk by themselves for a couple of hours taping the v/o's and pkg intros. Very little interaction with other talent (i.e. reporter or weather guy). |

That is the way they do it at NY1...but some other 24 hour channels at least do each show live...then it repeats all day until the next show is live. So CLTV does a morning show, but it's not live??? Thanks for the info.
