Not to dwell on a tacky technicality, but there's a difference between molesting a boy and "sharing your bed" with him. Jacko claimed he did the latter.
That being said, MJ clearly set himself up for trouble by doing that. Remember, Jacko's brain isn't on this planet. As weird as he is, you can make the case quite convincingly that he's totally clueless about the sexual overtones of letting kids share his bed. For all MJ believes, he's STILL a kid himself.
Stupidity, cluelessness -- guilty on both counts. But he wasn't charged with that. Like we need a jury to convict him of those "crimes" anyway.
