I never compared 14 to the alleged Big 3. News 14 is a different animal. the so-called big 3 puts together scheduled newscasts. 14 is 24 hours news/weather/sports.
Example--if you listen to talk radio, do you listen all day? No. You sample. 14 is a sampling channel. Get 20 minutes in, get caught up, go on your way. And its there all the time. |

Glad to hear Jim Newman is still there. I also like the ND in Raleigh, he's also a great guy.
It's an unfortunate circumstance. But, does anyone find it ironic (or a coincidence) that WCNC's company was the one that caused the trigger to fire on News 14? Was it really a money loser, or was it that the product was eating share?
I really dont know.
