Personally I liked Jim Avila of ABC News. Two reasons, one I think he did an excellent job maintaining his compsure during a trial that was just waiting for everyone to just get salacious in their daily reports. Second, he wasn't afraid to admit that he even after his significant airtime this is not the kind of story many want to be associated with as a network reporter.
There also should be a recognition handed out to the networks for restraining their coverage of this trial on the evening newscasts.
Referring to the Dimond evaluation there is little debate that next to The ABC documentary her exclusive at the Neverland Raid was the biggest single moment for any reporter during this entire situation. As a result, though, she became fairly or unfairly depending on your viewpoint, a ally of the Prosecutor in the opinion of several observers.
