The way I look at it this show is already on the air. I think they call it PTI on ESPN. Come on, the only difference in the look is that the on-air graphic rundown format, swiped from PTI is on the left of the screen as opposed to the right part of the screen over on the ESPN show. The analysts never matter, these shows are only about the host. I always hear about these producers being moved from show to show, that in my opinion doesn't matter. These types of shows will be and are driven by personalities with strong opinions and survive based pretty much on the host and his or her appeal alone. Nobody in the control room can make these shows better or really increase ratings. Every one of them talk about the same topics nightly, so all you do is turn to the one you like the most. Also, what is Max Kellerman on there serving as an analyst? When you are MSNBC though, why not give him a shot.
