...they had plenty of proof against a certain former football player...and more than enough proof against a certain "King of Pop". If you're a celebrity in California, you get a pass.
Actually, you a pass, because you get a different standard of justice: clearly jurors will only convict celebrities if they find they're guilty beyond ALL doubt. The rest of us have to make do with the old "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard.
