In Reply To: CNN's Rusty Dornin - one of the few veteran reporters left at the cable network. She has covered this story from day one, and her expertise and experience really shined thru when she was describing the courtroom atmosphere and trial as a whole after the verdict. Love her! Celebrity Justice's Jane Valez-Mitchell - Don't know much about her, but I really like her work. She clearly knows her stuff and has a great, commanding delivery. Also heard her in the news conference with the jury. She came across as very respectful and down-to-earth. Wonder where she will land now that Celebrity Justice has been canceled. Court TV's Diane Dimond - She doesn't seem as warm as the other two, but another veteran reporter who broke some major stories through the whole Jackson saga. It was very interesting to hear her take on the jurors and the case as a whole now that it is over. As a self-proclaimed news junkie, it was 'neat' to see all these well-known journalist parading out of the courtroom after the verdict was read.
Message: FNC was out in left field. It seems like Shep Smith and Andrew Napolitano had Jacko hung out to dry well before the verdict was read. They pointed to "likely" signs that Jacko was guilty including the prosecutor looking confident and Jackson's attorney nervous. The of course from inside the court room where Shep says jurors were staring at the judge while he reviewed the verdict. Another sure sign that Jacko was done for. And Shep talking about his "experience" in covering the courts all added up to a conviction. Oh, puleese! Now we'll analyze the heck out of it for the next month.
