Not sure why my thoughts on the Finals were deleted. All I said was I think the series will go five games max, the Spurs play fundamentally-sound basketball, and they get it done, period.
Oh yeah, I said the Larry Brown soap opera is too much. Did that offend someone at ABC/ESPN??

Geez, all of the political wrangling - no deletions. Talk about basketball and I'm deleted. About as difficult to predict as a Tony Parker free-throw attempt. |

Unless you live in Detroit/Michigan or San Antonio/Texas----now are you sitting down----no one is interested!
I like sports, but the truth of the matter is that the NBA and WNBA are interesting ONLY to those who live in towns/states where those teams play.
Expansion has diluted fan base and interest. Want proof? When the Soviet Union beat the US in '72, the nation wept. Last summer when the US was blown away by who knows, the dissappointment lasted, oh, about five minutes, if that.
If there's a lockout next season, no one's going to care.
The only "true" interest in basketball is in the college game.
