The people who have perpetuated this thread, I suspect, are people with some kind of investment in the story. Books have been written about Williams supposed innocence by a former television journalist who would LOVE to keep this story alive.
No one in Atlanta has ignored this story. Anyone who watches Atlanta news would know that. Monica hasn't buried anything. The story has been told and retold. There is nothing new here except Louis Graham now has the power to reopen the investigation. |

Bushwood, the people driving this debate are the same three fighting for Wayne Williams since the trial 25 years ago. Based on the Dettlinger/Prugh book "The List" which spawned the magazine articles, the Abby Mann docu-fiction, er docudrama, the Court TV special. It is the same guys over and over. It is amazing how a small group of journalists/cop can keep the conspiracy monster alive. If you did a poll of working journalists and cops who covered and worked the murders and trial - it would be about 99% guilty 1% not guilty. If that many. Of course the only poll that mattered was the jury. That was 12-0 guilty.
