Topic Name: Grand Rapids Message Name: nice place Date Posted: 06/13/2005 In Reply To: really appreciate it..I had been told winters were not as rough as the other side of the lake, but wanted to hear it from someone else..any other comments out there?? Message: Nice middle America city. Nice place to raise a family. Socially very conservative, which can be both good and bad. If the pay were right, I'd move there in a heartbeat. But, like many middle markets, the pay tends not to be right.
