Do stations let HS students interested in TV help out on assignment desk? Are there any "teen reporters"? |

It depends on the station and the market. Most want college interns, but the smaller the market the better chance you have. I suggest you check out the RTNDF's program for high school kids. Also, Student Television Newtowrk runs camps for generationnexters every summer. It is an awesome hands on camp.
Good luck. Oh yes, also, pick up the phone and call all the local stations in your area and ask them this same question.
