They stammer and stutter getting their lie out since they're nervous and they're making up their story on the fly. Also they won't look you in the eyes. The police can spot a liar in a second. |

Is separate the three suspects...and tell each that the other two are pinning it on them. Inform them that if they find the girl's body, they will all be treated equally. Cut a deal with the one who squeals. It's pretty basic stuff, and I hope they are doing that, but I would have expected one of them to crack by now. The thought of doing life in jail for someone else's murder usually will get people talking!
