20 somethings DON'T WATCH NEWS! People watch news when they hit their 30's and 40's. They have homes, pay taxes, have kids. They are more concerned about property taxes, local schools, crime, etc. Not that younger people don't care, they just have other things that are a higher priority, and they watch other programming. Do real news...with a local impact and you will get viewers. It would be nice to see a station break the modern mold and actually try a straight format.
