... sports in local newscast is going the way of compact discs. It will be gone in the coming years and the consultants are going to have thier way. I'm brushing up on my news reporting skills and planning to spend the rest of my career doing breaking news stories on bad weather and cats stuck in trees. |

...so i'm boning up on interviewing american idol contestants and working on my contacts with the local chapter of Pervertedjustice.com. That way i'll be ready when management no longer feels the need to inform the viewers of how our pro sports team--that draws 20-000 fans a game-- did on a given night, and/or how the local top-15 ranked college football team that draws 65-000 fans, is doing. Nobody cares about those things anyway.
