any info on the mkt, the stations, etc would be appreciated..looking at a position there..not familiar with area..is winter as bad as Chicago or Minneapolis?? |

In west Michigan, there is more snow but it is much warmer than Chicago or Minneapolis.
Grand Rapids is a pretty nice city, lots of great restaurants and neighborhoods, and the best thing - only a half hour to Lake Michigan with fabulous beaches. I grew up on the Wisconsin side, with rocks and cold water. Michigan is all sand from Indiana to the Mackinac Bridge.
