..go from the 2nd place cable news channel to the FOURTH place cable news outlet. He would go there only out of desparation for a job. He would be a fine CBS evening news anchor. |

(great interview with him in this weeks TVGuide.)
I cant see CBS giving the seat to an outsider. Not when they have plenty of people with far more field experience, have spent years with CBS and have paid their dues.
