Someone was on here yesterday, crowing about how FOX owned the story....had gotten on the air first with news of confessions, etc.
All of this has proved once again to be wrong.
FOX once again gets it wrong.
Killing off the Pope while he was still alive, unable to tell white smoke from black smoke, Geraldo giving away American troop positions such that he was thrown out of the area by our commanders.
FOX is usually first and always wrong. Some news organization. |

No question that the story of this missing girl in Aruba is tragic. But it doesn't rise to the level of a major, international story.
It's another example of how the media practices overkill and pack journalism. Because the victim is beautiful, white and comes from an affluent family in Birmingham, and Aruba is a popular vacation resort, this missing girl is more important than hundreds of others? Many of whom happen to be poor and black.
What about the parents of the 29 Atlanta "Missing and Murdered" victims. For over 25 years these parents haven't had closure to their children's murders. They continue believing that they were mis-led and lied to by police and the FBI. They refuse to believe that Wayne Williams killed their children. Why is it that this story isn't getting the attention that the girl in Aruba is getting? Go figure.
