you're not inside KOIN.
Few people have gotten more than a 2% raise in the last several years.
Good people, dare I say really good people have been fired for reasons that escape most rational people.
Better owners and better managers...well that comment is pretty silly. Do rank and file employees have any say over that? After all, look who just left, not really the cream of the crop there.
Someone already said it, there's good union shops and bad union shops. Just like there are good GMs and bad GMs.

again, hat tha means is, you pick where you work, and you pick your boss.
this is a transient business. if you don't like your boss, you move on to another station.
And don't whine about, "but I have roots here, I have a house, my kids like their school..."
you are in broadcasting. now accounting. you don't have any rights or entitlement to squat in one place. its their station, not your's. If you don't like them, MOVE ON!.
