wndu is a powerhouse in a sm/med size market. asking price is in the neighborhood of 75-100 million.
notre dame has had a long relationship with nbc as the network has been broadcasting all it's home games from south bend for years...
so...it's logical that nbc could be interested in acquiring this station.
rumors have it that the station will have to be moved off the outskirts of campus after a sale...what big broadcast groups out there might be interested?

First of all, NBC ain't buying this station. Second, if NBC was interested, they sure aren't going to pay that kind of price for market 87.
$100 million is about $50 million too much for that place. Why would you pay that much when you don't even get the building?
