I'm not sure what you meant by that. This seems to be a pretty tame discussion. Anyway . . .
At this stage of the season, RJ is clearly not helping the Yankees. That is evident from his numbers. He's 5 and 5 and his ERA is above 4.
On the other hand, Dana has clearly helped KPHO. As mentioned by an earlier poster, its 10:00 ratings were up nearly 40% from last year and KPNX's 10:00 ratings were down about 20%. The other newscasts anchored by Dana showed similar trends. Although network programming gave the station a boost, the local newscast improvement was greater than the boost from the network.
Nobody realistically expected him to immediately propel the station to #1 in all evening newscasts. But he almost did it at 10:00, which KPNX has dominated quite handily for many years. That itself is a real accomplishment for KPHO.
So again, the RJ comparison is a poor one. Whether the comparison can be applied a year from now, we'll have to wait and see.

Got it. Nice start for Dana, not so good for RJ, though I hear he's got the red-arse working today.
We'll see how it plays out.
And the "talking back" bit was just me taking a page from the RJ book, that's all.
Personally, I prefer the Sullivan-Anaya(sp)team, but that should go without saying...
