KCRA is, no question, the news leader in Sacramento. KOVR has had decent numbers at ten, but they are not the news of record... not yet.
KOVR has new money, new energy and above all new expectations. KCRA is cutting people, cutting budgets, and overbranding everything.
The other factor is the network. KOVR has CBS behind them.. KCRA has NBC. Has there ever been as "buzzless" an upfront as NBC had last month??
I would say that within two years, KCRA will have crumbled and KOVR will be number one. |

I am not in a market where I can watch the teams..how are the AM and PM teams at KCRA and KOVR?
