And you have a valid point as well (about O'Conner and McMurty...assuming this time I get the point you are trying to make as it is a little unclear. Ain't the same as in he's a man and she's a woman or he's A Texan and she's a Southernor.
I let that point one pass because I was so ticked about the other one.. "What do you mean by people like you"...if the difference between McMurtry (who I interviewed once, by the way) and Flannery was all you meant to convey why throw in that line in particular?
And my roomate who is a Virgian have beat the "Texas is not Southern state argument to death"...so I'll leave that one alone.
