I am a young, recently graduated, reporter/ anchor in search of my first job. I've been told by people that I look like a "Black Barbie"," You've got the look" and so on. So my question is, just how important are looks? My work is good (don't we all think so)but I know there is a constant need for improvement. I live is So Cali where most of the women on the news tube are babes or wanna be babes, but I know in the smaller markets, where i will begin, are much more conservative. Will this hinder or help me out as a rookie? Fill me in please.
