there is a time and a place for an agent. It's not when you are in the small and low-paying markets; those agents who troll there do nothing that you can't do yourself. And frankly, if you were going to get 40,000, and the agent gets you 43,000 rorygilmore, that's still not enough to cover the standard and usual fees that are charged by agents. Perhaps when you're all ready for the six figure jobs, then you might want to look for an agent. And do your home work; there's lots of ways to find out who's got the goods as an agent. |
