By overplaying the runaway bride story, Jennifer Wilbanks has gotten enough publicty to ink a deal for book and movie rights, somewher in the half million dollar range. This became a non story the minute she was found and exposed, but the 24/7 cable morons kept force feeding it on us, and the lowest common denominator wins again. What really stinks is that Wilbanks paid only a fraction of the money expended on her behalf, not to mention all the volunteer hours by the community. If remorse was part of her plea agreement, this should void it and they should throw that bitch in the can. I hope that she plans to give the money to charity, or that there is a law on the books forbidding her to cash in on a crime. The real question is...who on God's earth would want to read her stupid book or watch a movie about her? |

I totally agree with you..
I could care less why that woman ran out. How is there gonna be enough stuff for a movie? I won't watch it...
I agree she should pay back more..especially if she's cashing in on this now!
