Cute Katie has morphed into Queen Diva Katie. Happened shortly after the $13 million contract was signed. Too much dough and too much power is to blame for what has become the Katie's-way-or-the-highway version of "Today." Politics aside, though Couric's act during the 2004 campaign is one for the ages, Couric simply has lost her appeal to most middle-America moms. Time to let Couric walk and get a young, smart, down-to-earth co-host
like Alexis Glick in the chair.
