that KRON is going the way of one-man-bands. They hope to transition all reporters by mid-2006.
Do you think they're bluffing in an effort to weed out high-priced talent? How do you think it will affect KRON's coverage? Will other SF stations follow suit to save a penny or two?

it's ridiculous, plain and simple. Market 192 I can understand. San Francisco? I read where one of their weather openings involves talent who is also a videographer. If that's the direction for everyone else too, totally absurd and unprofessional.
