Saying that the producers are from that generation forgets the fact that the viewers are also. If news is produced the way the this generation grew up, isn't the product a direct result that would best connect with the same audience? |

Ask those same producers if they didn't work in this industry, if they watch the news. I bet the answer is no.
My 11 year old enjoys a well-written story. Why shouldn't we all? Remember Charles Kuralt? I use to watch him telling his stories when I was young, and I'm sure I was younger than his demos at the time!
