for proving that there is truth behind some of the smear posters here. I am not all that new to Charlotte, but my dealings with Ron were always very professional and pleasant. I wish him well in his future. |

Nonbriteblonde, you're living up to your nickname. There are many of us who worked with Ron Miller. I'd say we worked under Ron, but that's impossible. This guy could literally fit on a dashboard. Anyway, joking aside, he was not a good news director. His people skills are lacking. He was a hatchet man for his general manager at WBTV, who has since gone over to the Fox station in town, and left his mark over there.
Miller fired one of the best investigative reporters in the city, Chris Clackum. He fired Drew Levinson, who couldn't cut it for Miller and had to go to work for CBS. Several other good, solid vets were either fired or forced out as well.
AND THE RATINGS DROPPED.
All of the above is true. I rest my case.
